Miscarriage Association - Angel Run
The 2015 Angel Run was the first ever virtual race in aid of the Miscarriage Association. We were amazed at the response after 325 people took part and raised over £2000 - a huge boost to the Miscarriage Association's ability to help people.
In 2016 Nicky's husband Chris is organising a second Angel Run with a new medal! All of the profit from the race (after cost of medals, postage & packaging and any Paypal costs) will go to the Miscarriage Association. Funds will go towards Chris's Fundraising to run the Virgin London Marathon 2016 on 24 April 2016, for which he has to raise £1500, pay the difference himself or forfeit his place. If you want to know more about him as a person, why he's running the London Marathon and why he cares about the Miscarriage Association please have a look at the 'About Us' page. You can also sponsor him there if you wish to! |

What is a Virtual Race?
A Virtual Race is like any other race - except you can run it at any location and along any route.
You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race at the same time.
You can run or walk your race at your pace, whenever you like and with whoever you like.
The only constraints are:
- You have to enter by 28 February 2016
- You have to complete your race between 1 January and 31 March 2016
- The distance you race should be 5km, 10km or 13.1 miles (Half Marathon) (unless you're a junior in which case you can do 1km if you're 7 and under or 3km if you're 12 and under)
- you don't need to tell us your distance up front - just once you've run it!
